Located not far out of downtown in the Twelve Oaks shopping center on Abercorn is Cancun, a restaurant with familiar Mexican style meals and plenty of televisions for watching sports. Some locals might not know that Cancun is finally reopened after surviving a fire that happened not too long ago, and there’s no better way to celebrate than to order a few margaritas to toast for the occasion. Cancun is a restaurant that makes you feel like you’re supposed to be there and that any other plans would be silly by comparison. Don’t worry about overspending at all as their drinks/food menus are more than fairly priced. Cancun is open every day from 11 am – 10 pm at least with a large menu, large tv’s, and a large staff that won’t leave you waiting in between courses. Visit Cancun and support a locally loved restaurant while drinking through a margarita pitcher or one on the rocks. Plenty of free parking is available so that’s a huge plus.
La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

Ask for their flavors menu to see how many ways they offer this oldschool drink and take your pick from frozen or on the rocks. The Bamboo Room

An extension of Sorry Charlie’s the oyster bar is The Bamboo Room, located on the upstairs floor of this Congress St restaurant. Bragging about being a truly tropical escape from downtown Savannah’s norm is The Bamboo Room is all about, they have the tiki decor to prove it too. Their menu specifically takes classic drinks and turns them into cocktails that fit in with the beachy setup, including frozen versions that won’t taste as strong as they really are. Downstairs at Sorry Charlie’s, their frozen drink selection is limited in comparison so take a chance on The Bamboo Room if you want a little more out of the menu. Closed for the first half of the week, The Bamboo Room is ready to take you away from it all from 5 pm until midnight from Wednesday until Sunday.
Jalapenos

For nearly thirty years, Savannah’s locals have gotten used to hearing the iconic commercial for Jalapeno’s Mexican Restaurant as they have grown to four locations directly in the Savannah area.
