Fireworks on River Street

Fireworks are an essential part of ringing in the new year and on River Street, you’ll find more celebrations to choose from than you can imagine while you wait for the lights to begin. Find a spot to settle in for the viewing by 9:30 PM to capture the entire show. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to create a flawless Instagram or Facebook story!
City Market Live Music

From 7pm-1am on New Years Eve, spend some time jamming out to live music in City Market. Right outside of the Wild Wing Cafe, you’re sure to run into a guitarist or local band outside rocking out, and that’s not just for New Years Eve. Every weekend is a fun one to spend in City Market, we even stop there on our Sip N’ Cycle tour. Nestled among multiple bars, restaurants and music venues, City Market is your one stop shop for all party needs for the evening. The Grove

If you do find yourself in City Market, there’s no reason to not stop by The Grove and enjoy their celebrations. Two stories, with a prime view for people watching, The Grove always treats their guests with the utmost of true Southern Hospitality. March on up and head to the top floor of The Grove and have the time of your life, with plenty of time to make it to the fireworks show by 9:30! Be sure to try their honey drizzle fries if you get hungry. Of all their awesome menu items, our humble writer Abstract Samm has a special place reserved for the drizzle fries from The Grove in City Market.
New Years Bash at Elan

Experience Savannah’s largest New Years Eve bash at Elan on Williamson St. Plenty of room for all party animals in the area, Elan is the super club that knows how to get down on any day. Asking the question of what someone is doing while in Savannah, more often than not, is answered with Elan as the host spot. All throughout the year, this club is flocked to for parties of every kind. Five years means they must be doing something right so don’t skip out on the fun at Elan.
NYE Bash Riverside Amphitheater

Local legends DRAUCKER are hosting a concert at Plant Riverside Amphitheater, giving just the excuse you need to wander down to the west end of River Street after experiencing the fireworks display. Dance your way into 2022 with a band that knows how to get the party started, and keep it going! Savannah’s favorite Improv group is hosting a wicked show at 210 W Victory Drive from 8-10pm on New Years Eve this year. Laugh your you-know-what off with locals that can’t stop telling jokes, as if they would even attempt that. Don’t forget to bring your masks, but don’t worry if you forget. They will provide you with one at the door if you need it. Fair warning, you will get hooked on Front Porch Improv within five minutes of sitting down for the performance. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
