Graffito Pizza
4.5 ★
River Street has been one of Savannah’s prime restaurant locations for many years. From the historic buildings to the unmatched view of the Savannah River, everyone knows that an afternoon or evening spent dining on the river is the way to go while you’re in the area. Graffito Pizza is more of a recent addition to the west end of River Street, brought on with Plant Riverside’s upgrade to that area. Take a break from your shopping trip and there’s nothing better than enjoying some authentic, neapolitan style pies from 11 am – 10 pm (11 pm on Friday and Saturday) on any day of the week. State of the art ovens cook each pizza to the perfect temp and the aesthetic of this restaurant alone will have you feeling cozy from the moment you walk inside.

Riverboat Pizza Company
4.5 ★
Patio seating is just the start of Riverboat Pizza Company’s allure. Nothing beats outdoor seating on a nice day or night out in Savannah, except maybe the outstanding food selection that this menu has to offer. Stand out names like the Riverboat Captain, Master Splinter, and Pesto Manifesto will make you wish there were more meals in the day just to try them all out without filling up. Throughout the entire menu, you’ll find unique combinations that can keep you returning for weeks without ever eating the same meal twice. Make your way to Ogeechee Rd from Wednesday through Sunday and be sure to check out their hours on Google before you get on the road. Riverboat Pizza Company is worth a trip or two or six.

Bella’s Italian Cafe
4.5 ★
Located in Midtown’s Habersham Village not even 10 minutes from the historic district, Bella’s Italian Cafe isn’t so encumbered by downtown’s parking and large crowds. Featuring more than pizza, Bella’s menu is extensive and holds space for everything from shrimp scampi to lasagna and everything in between for Italian cuisine. Open every day of the week, you can trek down Habersham St and plan your meal between 5 – 9 pm (8 pm close on Sundays) and try out recipes that actually did originate from somebody’s grandma. Bella was oldschool and believed in creating everything from scratch and with the utmost of care, making sure to fill up any and everybody who happened to sit down at her table. The tradition has clearly kept carrying on with the folks at Bella’s Italian Cafe.

Casual Italian dining can be found at Corleone’s on Broughton St in Savannah’s Historic District. Squirrels Pizza
4.2 ★
As we’ve mentioned more than plenty of times before, Savannah;s Starland District seems to have a little bit of everything that you need while you’re in the area. There’s a good chance that you would be able to plan an entire vacation around that neighborhood alone and now that you know of two pizza places in the area, what more do you even need? Squirrels pizza is a solid addition to the already flourishing food selection around Bull St and the Starland location with a unique take on cooking style for their pies. Somewhere crossed between Neapolitan and Roman Pizza Tonda lies the interesting placement of toppings and lower cooking temperatures are just two variables to consider with their process. Step out to Squirrels one of these nights and find out why this restaurant is going to be your new favorite lounge spot and pizza eatery. Hours vary throughout the week so don’t be shy about checking the website for those.

Allyanna’s Olde Style Pizzeria
4.0 ★
Easygoing and straight to the point, Allyanna’s Olde Style Pizzeria on Montgomery Cross Rd has exactly what you’d expect out of an old fashioned pizza place. Breadsticks, stromboli, salads and subs are only the tip of what is a massive menu stocked with everyone’s favorites. With plenty to choose from, everyone in your group will have an easy time at Allyanna’s. From the vegetarian friendly Spinach Mushroom Tortellini to the lasagna, even if you aren’t in a pizza sort of mindset you will leave this place with no hunger left. Any day other than Sunday, you can stop by from 11 am – 9:30 pm and prepare to leave with tight pants, these servings are affordable but massive!

Donatos Pizza
4.3 ★
Personal favorite to our vegetarian article writer, Donatos Pizza is the place where you have the best plant based sausage option for your pie. Savannah is already a pretty Vegan friendly city but there’s always those little menu options at the most random of places and alongside all the regular toppings you’re used to, Donatos Pizza is where you don’t have to miss the meat when you see everyone else chowing down on pepperoni. Ask about their latest menu choice, honey hot wings or pick up a stuffed jalapeno to go with that big pizza. Even their dessert menu is pretty special, ordering snickerdoodles will directly benefit Habitat for Humanity. Savannah is the type of city where people want to help each other and every little bit does count so hurry up and add that extra cookie to your order while you’re at it.

Kay’s Pizza
4.3 ★
Open until 3 am from Thursday-Saturday and closing at midnight every other day, Kay’s Pizza on Congress is there for you late at night when the other pizza places are shut down for the evening. Whether you need to feed a bunch of folks with the 18 inch pie or want to snack on some smaller desserts. Heck, for the truly starved group of party people, there’s even a 28 inch pizza that comes packed with toppings. Ask about the gluten free crust for the stomach sensitive ones in your party and know that Kay’s Pizza always has your back, until midnight at least.
