Welcome back to the Savannah Sip N’ Cycle Blog, we are so glad you’re here today! If you’ve been here before, you know that here on the #PartyBike, our ultimate goal is to make sure that if you’re in Savannah for any amount of time, you’re able to have a fun and relaxing experience. Locals, tourists and regular visitors have come to (and stayed in) the area because in the South, everyone is family and family gets treated like royalty. Regardless of whether you’re already here and wanting to learn about what’s new and changing, considering your first trip to Savannah, or somewhere in between, the Sip N’ Cycle Blog has probably covered details you hadn’t even considered. All this time and stress in the last year has definitely had folks on a search for their center and a bit of balance more than ever before. After months of having no real relief from the random stream of personal shower thoughts, now that we are able to (safely) interact with others in groups, the need for some relaxation is prominent no matter which way you turn. If you’ve ever been here to the Savannah Sip N’ Cycle blog, you already know that our ultimate goal as a company is to make sure that you, our guests, have the most fun, relaxing time you’ve ever experienced when you come to visit. Well, that and to be positive that you’ve left here with a want to come back and come back soon. That is why we take the time to let you, our guests and new friends in on the best spas, bars and even local bands in Savannah. Heck, we even listed a whole gaggle of “quarantine friendly” games before everything started to open back up. Like we said, there’s a bit of all that you needed to know, and some of what you didn’t here on the blog, including info on how to book a tour on the #PartyBike, but we can get to that later.

Today, on the Savannah Sip N’ Cycle blog, we are gathering up our chakras and heading out to find out where to find some balance and enjoy a round of yoga or meditation. Self care is truly an important part of being healthy and there’s a little something for anyone attempting to round it all out. KTO Yoga Surf

Cosmic Corner

What was once a small room nestled into a corner of Bolton St has evolved in a big way. Now that Cosmic Corner has moved in to their bigger, better location on east 38th st, they host more than Tarot cards and metaphysical supplies. Though their space is full of candles, incense, books and much more, they are thrilled to have the room for meditation sessions. Currently, you can come in for Swan Yoga, Freestyle Meditation and even Meditation for Witches. Walking in to this store has always felt like home for new and returning visitors and that vibe has not changed in the move. Everyone is invited to center around Cosmic Corner, just check out their website to stay up to date on which classes are available on any day. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Savannah Yoga Center

For almost twenty years, Savannah Yoga Center has not just been the place to go to learn yoga, but to also train to teach it. Daily classes are available along with retreats. You can find Savannah Yoga Center on Bull St every day of the week, but their hours do change from day to day so be sure to give their website a look before planning your visit. With their reputation for being friendly, consistent and a teaching resource for all who enter, there’s always a reason to consider Savannah Yoga Center.

More of a personal experience for those truly seeking an intimate relationship with Yoga and the benefits that can come from regular practice, Balance Yoga is a sanctuary that was initially created by Christina Zimmerman, a practitioner of the skill for over 15 years. Particularly focusing on each individual’s progress and effect, you’ll find a custom class option that is tailored to suit your needs and help you reach any goal set, and even some you were not aware of just yet. Though the lessons consist of multiple participants, you’ll feel like the session was just made to help you. Look for this building in Mercer Plaza.

Open every day (with varying hours) with a team of instructors that are skilled and personable, you’ll feel a strong sense of family with New Yoga Now. Offering different styles of Yoga that will aid in mindfulness while encouraging a sense of serenity, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Spry Mind and Body

Closed only on Friday and Monday, Spry Mind and Body on Skidaway (in Sandfly shopping center) is proud to be a center that focuses on Yoga for Healthy Aging. No matter what level you’re at in your journey, Spry Mind and Body is here to accommodate, even offering “chair yoga” if moving on the floor would be too much. Truly here for the practitioner at any experience while being affordable (just 40$ a month for unlimited sessions) Spry will find a lesson for you.

Abercorn is that street in Savannah where you can find anything. All roads seem to make it back to Abercorn and it just seems to be the center of things in Savannah. So there’s no surprise that you’ll find Sun and Moon Yoga Studios when you find yourself wandering that particular road. Using yoga as a form of pain management, Sun and Moon Yoga is out with the intent of aiding in physical ailments. Ghost Coast Distillery Breath and Booze

Did you think we were kidding about events being held at distillery’s? If you’ve ever experienced Savannah in any capacity, you know that we like to find an excuse to (safely) mix our drinks with any and every event imaginable. Check out their website to find out when Ghost Coast Distillery hosts their Breath and Booze sessions with Christine Graeber, and enjoy discounted drinks at the private bar after.

If you’re literally anybody who has to participate in society as a functioning member, there’s probably a need to chill out every once in a while and this list is your excuse. Whether you’re a newbie who’s not entirely sure what they want to accomplish by way of practicing yoga, or are so versed in the art that you could practically teach a class yourself, Savannah has a place for you to unwind or even train to start hosting your own sessions. Any day of the week, you’ll find options galore in the realm of self care, because we know how to relax around here. This is south Georgia after all.
